The best performing government shutdown ever! (E1332)

In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy note that the S&P 500 is up 7%, the best shutdown performance ever. Donald Trump should be proud of himself! They also look at a ‘rent stabilization’ proposal from Democrats in Oregon and how a new study from Johns Hopkins shows that no matter what our good intentions are as voters, there is always a corporation that owns legislators and takes an outsized piece of our voting intention pie. In the second half, Max interviews market commentator and blogger, Wolf Richter of WolfStreet.com, about the ‘patient’ Federal Reserve, the property market in San Francisco starting to deflate and Germany’s economy in ‘technical recession.
