Violent protests challenge Covid lockdowns across Europe

Austria is just hours into a full lockdown and will soon make vaccinations mandatory, measures that incited a massive protest in Vienna at the weekend. The quarantine is planned to last at least 10 days and could be extended, after the number of new infections tripled in recent weeks—with hospitals warning that intensive care units are reaching their limits. Protests also rocked several other countries throughout Europe, some of them even turning violent. RT’s Peter Oliver has the latest. The latest out of Waukesha, Wisconsin where the police have a person of interest in custody after an SUV sped through a Christmas parade Sunday afternoon—killing at least five people, some of them children and injuring dozens more.
