10 killed in US-ordered drone strike in Kabul

Army Major General William “Hank” Taylor confirms that on Sunday a US unarmed drone strike targeted a parked vehicle near Kabul airport carrying a substantial amount of explosives. He said the strike was successful, and took out the armed vehicle . He went on to say the US is aware of reports of civilian casualties, and will investigate. Afghan families tell the media that Sunday’s strike near the airport killed 10 civilians, 7 of them children. As a result, the Taliban condemned the US for failing to inform them before ordering the strike. Survivors of the airport blast are claiming they saw American troops shooting at civilians in the aftermath of the explosion. RT’s Murad Gazdiev has more from the ground.
