Kabul explosions kill 13, ISIS-K claims responsibility

ISIS-K has claimed responsibility for two explosions outside Kabul Airport, killing 13. Many others have been injured including five US soldiers. Since the Taliban takeover nearly two weeks ago, the US and its allies have been trying to evacuate as many people as possible in order to meet the August 31st deadline set forth by President Biden.
