The Biden administration has seen to it that nearly 200 vaccinations have been dispensed so far in the US, and is turning its attentions abroad as other countries face a shortage of vaccine doses and are on the precipice of public-health calamity. But it seems that the US has fallen behind in the realm of "vaccine diplomacy," as Russia has sent its Sputnik V vaccine to 22 countries, with 50,000 doses sent to Venezuela alone.
