Will online school push the internet to its limit?
Millions of students around the world will be participating in remote online learning amid the global COVID-19 pandemic. But will this push the internet to the limit? RT America’s Alex Mihailovich has the story. Protesters gathered outside of the White House on the last night of the Republican National Convention on Thursday. Armed with horns and loud chants, hundreds tried to disrupt President Trump’s nomination acceptance speech. Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) found himself in the middle of the protest after he and his wife attempted to walk to their hotel. While many protesters were shouting “Say her name” in reference to Breonna Taylor, Sen. Paul has actually taken it a step further by introducing legislation in her honor. RT America’s Rachel Blevins has more. Fifty-seven years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his now famous “I Have a Dream Speech” on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Those words echoed again today at the same place. RT America’s Faran Fronczak, who was among the thousands attending Friday’s “March on Washington,” reports. In a surprise announcement, Japanese PM Shinzo Abe says he’s resigning from his position due to ulcerative colitis. He withdrew from politics in 2007 on account of the same health condition before returning to the office. Former UK MP George Galloway joins In Question for a closer look.
