FULL SHOW: COVID-19 hits working-class Black communities

The novel coronavirus continues to plague New York, hitting some of the poorest areas the hardest. RT America's Trinity Chavez reports from New York. Food banks that normally help struggling people are now struggling for donations amid the economic crisis accelerated by the pandemic. RT America’s Faran Fronczak has the story. The Federal Reserve is pumping an additional $2.3 trillion into the economy for new loans as the US Senate argues over billions more for small businesses. “Boom Bust” co-host and investigative journalist Ben Swann weighs in. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 33 percent of people hospitalized with COVID-19 are African Americans, despite making up only 18 percent of the U.S. population.
