UN blames US, UK, France for Yemen crisis

UN experts have flagged the United States, the United Kingdom and France for human-rights abuses in the Saudi-led campaign that has crippled Yemen. In Hong Kong, Chief Executive Carrie Lam has announced the formal withdrawal of the extradition bill behind the last few weeks of violent unrest in the city. Iran has increased pressure ahead of a weekend deadline for the European signatories (the E3) to comply with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and asked these countries to come up with a solution for Iran to sell its oil abroad. Escalated US sanctions have crippled Iran’s economy.
