Acosta steps down as Epstein case heats up

US Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta is bowing to pressure to resign amid backlash over how he handled the 2008 plea deal for billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. China announced today that it plans to impose sanctions on US companies after the US Department of State approved a $2.2 billion dollar arms sale to Taiwan. Russia's Defense Ministry has confirmed the remaining S-400 missile defense system components will be delivered to Turkey on Friday, as per their contract. The systems are to be assembled by the Turkish military and operational by October. And Friday marks jury selection for Keith Davis Jr’s fourth murder trial. He was the first man shot by Baltimore Police after the death of Freddie Gray. Davis survived gunshot wounds but was charged with murder when police claimed a gun found at this home was linked to the crime.
