Published 14 Jun, 2019 21:34

WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange will not face a full US extradition hearing until February 25th of next year. Assange remains at Belmarsh prison serving a fifty-week sentence for attempting to avoid extradition to Sweden. Meanwhile, Turkey is promising retaliation if the US proceeds with imposing sanctions on the country over its purchase of Russia’s S-400 missile defense system.
