Venezuelan embassy showdown heats up, 3 arrested

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido called for another day of protests today as he attempts to overthrow democratically-elected President Nicolas Maduro. Over in Washington DC, clashes have broken out between pro-Guaido and pro-Maduro protesters over access to the country’s embassy. RT’s Rachel Blevins has the latest. The Trump administration wants more than $4 billion in emergency funding to go toward US-Mexico border efforts as the Department of Homeland Security prepares for DNA testing of detained families and a 16-year-old migrant boy from Guatemala died while in DHS custody in Texas. For more on this issue, American Immigration Lawyers Association Vice President Allen Orr sits down with RT America’s Manila Chan. Payment giant MasterCard is facing mounting pressure to monitor money going to far-right groups, whom critics accuse of promoting "hate."
