NAFTA Redux, Police Killing in Portland & Toxic Algae Takes Florida

Anya Parampil reports on the new deal replacing the NAFTA trade agreement,  known as the US, Mexico and Canada Agreement, or USMCA. For today’s U.S. Update she reports on Portland Police’s killing of a 27-year-old black father named Patrick Kimmons, the first reported case of law enforcement using Apple’s facial recognition technology to charge a suspect, as well as the toxic red algae that’s spread to reach all three of Florida’s coast.
