Armageddon tourism on the cable news (E4)

GONZO heads to Las Vegas, where Max and Stacy rent a 1965 Cadillac DeVille – a car from the era when ‘America was great’. They take a drive around the Vegas Strip and meet up with an artist, Alex Schaefer, at Atomic Liquors where tourists to Sin City in the 1950s used to sip cocktails whilst watching nuclear mushroom clouds on the horizon for their amusement. While painting a portrait of Max and Stacy, Alex Schaefer ponders life in our future robot zoo and contemplates America, where he says loud noises, big explosions, and dangerous life practices are as American as Donald Trump. They reminisce about the similar Armageddon tourism around the physics of separating money and trade from gold and the explosion of debt that followed. GONZO then hits the road again on the way to Yosemite National Park.
