Jimmy Dore on Joe Biden’s incoherent first press conference and the press being owned by the military-industrial complex (E994)

On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to Dr. Ravindra Gupta of Cambridge University, who led the team that cured the ‘London HIV patient.’ He discusses whether soon-to-be-discovered treatments and cures for coronavirus will be rolled out en masse, and explains why drugs that lower the immune reaction to coronavirus tend to cause severe illness. He also tells us why adjusting vaccines for new variants won’t be such a challenging task, and why vaccines are unlikely to cause serious side-effects among the general population, and explores the skepticism over the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Next, we speak to Jimmy Dore, host of the Jimmy Dore Show. He discusses Joe Biden’s first press conference as US president, and blasts Biden for failing to deliver on a $15 minimum wage, $2,000 stimulus checks and other campaign promises. He also attacks the US press for not challenging Biden enough, and lambasts Sleepy Joe for his ‘incoherence’ over the crisis at the US-Mexican border and maintaining the occupation of Afghanistan.
