The end of the Financial Services Industry, Homeless refugees & Life and death in Palestine (E379)

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on Labour economics, refugees, and Palestine. We ask a former member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee if Britain would be better off without the financial services industry. We speak to the refugee council about why nearly 10,000 refugees fleeing NATO wars are now homeless on the streets of Britain. We also speak to a journalist who spent years living with the people of Palestine about why peace talks and handshakes don’t mean much in the occupied territories.
