Proxy Wars on Eritrea, Royal Baby Mania and there’s only One Direction (E201)

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on the West’s war on Eritrea. Ahmed Mohammed Mahmoud, the chairman of BECON, the British Eritrean Communities and Organisation Network, says Eritrea is an enemy of the West because it refuses to allow the IMF and NGOs to dictate its financial policies. Grant Harrold, former butler to Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge, talks about the Royal Baby and says the younger generation of Royals have made the family more approachable. And we are joined once again by former MP Lembit Opik for our run down of the week most ridiculous stories. This week we are taking a look at riots in Baltimore, earthquakes in Nepal, tear gas on the streets of Brixton and what One Direction would be like in a parallel universe. Plus, could weapons manufacturer BAE Systems be running schools in Britain?
