WikiLeaks on TTIP, continued abuse in Guantanamo, & powerful lobbyists (E147)

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on TTIP. Kristinn Hrafnsson, of WikiLeaks, warns it is about 'anything but free trade' and is designed purely to serve multinationals. Ed Straw, former Number 10 advisor, talks about lobbying in the UK, warning that our system gives immense power to companies wishing to influence the government. John McDonnell MP looks at why Shaker Aamer, the last UK national in Guantanamo Bay, is still detained despite having been cleared for release twice. He warns it could be a fear that he will expose the torture and abuse within the base, and the secret services are putting pressure to keep him there. We look at how much money given to charity actually makes it to the good causes it is supposed to help. And we look at misleading headlines in Breaking Views, with a hermaphrodite bear & malaria causing consternation.
