World Cup Fever: Kazan. Tatarstan’s Capital: Where food and footie go hand in hand

Diego, Mukha, and Vitaly arrive in Kazan late in the evening. Diego immediately heads off for a night tour of the city, while Mukha and Vitaly go in search of some local Tatar cuisine. The next day, they check out the city’s breathtaking white Kremlin, which holds the spectacular Qol Sharif Mosque and an Orthodox cathedral within its walls. Then, they visit state-of-the-art Kazan Arena, whose VIP section rivals the boxes at the Bolshoi Theatre and whose high-tech façade is also a giant screen.
