Water: Donetsk's lifeline
The Ukrainian armed forces have been deliberately targeting water towers, thus cutting off the water supply for Donbass residents. For almost a year people have been facing the daily challenge of finding water to survive. One day, nine-year-old Elnur Kunov saw an old lady who was crying and carrying empty water cans. Despite being just a child, Elnur felt the desire to help the woman and hundreds of other people in need. He inspired his dad to start a humanitarian mission. Father and son together look for water and deliver it to people in shelled areas that are out of reach of other relief efforts, thus helping them obtain water. Watch the film to see how courageous volunteers deliver water, often at their own peril.
