The Beast of Zone 3

In Guatemala City, Central America’s biggest capital, there is an infamous garbage dump that some call “the Mine”, as it provides a livelihood for thousands of poor people, who rummage through tons of trash every day in search of scrap metal or anything else reusable. However, to others it’s “the beast”, because raw sewage flows through the massive landfill and twice a year, and floods cause deadly landslides.
