Peace has no borders

Peace has no borders

Award-winning filmmakers Deb Ellis and Denis Mueller are thrilled to announce the premiere of their new documentary film, ‘Peace Has No Borders’. Ten years in the making, ‘Peace Has No Borders’ is a feature-length documentary that follows the dramatic struggle of Iraq War veterans from the US who crossed the border into Canada seeking relief and refuge from serving in what they viewed as an unjust and immoral war. ‘Peace Has No Borders’ follows three war-resisters and their supporters as they challenge the power of the Canadian government for the right to remain in the country. Their personal stories unfold through periods of optimism, heartbreak and betrayal as their decisions of conscience are met by the opposition of far larger forces of power.
