Asymmetrical attrition?

At the center of Trump’s three presidential campaigns was an anti-war message. The US would never again fight very expensive and open-ended foreign wars. This all changed when the US and Israel attacked Iran. There was supposed to be no forced regime change. Now there is a forever war.
