Exporting drones, Chapel Hill terrorism & how Marxism can be democratic

In this Breaking the Set, Abby Martin contrasts BTS’s recent visit to Cuba and how the tiny island nation exports doctors worldwide with the recent announcement that the US will begin exporting drones to its allies. Abby speaks with founder of MintPress News, Mnar Muhawesh, about the Chapel Hill shooting and how the media’s refusal to call it a terrorist attack fits into the narrative of the War on Terror. Abby is then joined by Founder and Editor of Jacobin Magazine, Bhaskar Sunkara, to analyze the Syriza party’s victory in Greece and the anti-capitalist Podemos party’s emergence in Spain. Abby wraps up the show with Joe Rogan, host of the Joe Rogan Experience, discussing everything from aliens communicating with earth to marijuana legalization.
