US-China tensions: Imports banned from Xinjiang region

Tensions have escalated between the US and China as the Trump administration bans the import of certain goods from the Chinese region of Xinjiang. Plus, the race for a Covid-19 vaccine has accelerated to record time, causing some uncertainty as Germany announces it will provide €750 million in funding to three biotech companies working on the vaccine. As Boeing’s stock suffers in the wake of the novel coronavirus and the 737 MAX controversy, the FAA is reaching a key milestone for the Boeing jet’s return. Civil aviation authorities from the US, Canada, Brazil, and the EU are scheduled to review the proposed training in London.
