Microsoft in talks to scoop TikTok app

Tech giant Microsoft is in talks to buy TikTok from Chinese parent company ByteDance. It comes after US President Donald Trump announced a plan to ban the app in the United States. The Trump administration has extended the deadline, giving Microsoft about 45 days to get the deal done. Plus, the NASDAQ has popped on news that Apple has now claimed the title of the world’s most valuable publicly-traded company, unseating state oil giant Saudi Aramco.
