Last year, 90% of companies in the S&P 500 stock index reported earnings using methods not sanctioned under generally accepted accounting principles and now, the Bank of Japan is a top ten investor in 90% of Japan’s largest companies. Edward Harrison weighs in. Then, Bianca Facchinei takes a look at Saudi Arabia’s attempt at cutting their “oil addiction.” Afterwards, Edward sits down with Tim Duy – professor of economics at the University of Oregon – to talk about the Fed.
