Japan economy contracts in fourth quarter

Japan’s economy shrunk by 1.4 percent in Q4 of 2015. Ameera David weighs in and then sits down with Ed Schultz – host of “The News with Ed Schultz” – to talk about the Obama administration approving the first US factory in Cuba in more than 50 years. Bianca Facchinei takes a look at how pollution is affecting global business.

After the break, Ameera is joined by Lenore Hawkins – founding partner of Meritas Advisors and blogger at Elle’s Economy – to talk oil. And in The Big Deal, Ameera and RT correspondent Manuel Rapalo discuss steel workers in Europe protesting what they regard as unfairly traded steel imports from China.
