First step to criminal justice reform & America’s opioids addiction

Holland Cooke discusses prison reform with Paul Wright, executive director of the Human Rights Defense Center, whose resume includes a 17-year stint as a Washington state prisoner, as well as roles as a jailhouse lawyer, political activist, and journalist. Then, a discussion with Dr John Dombrowski, a board-certified anesthesiologist and addiction medicine specialist, on the US opioids problem – which now kills more Americans than guns, cars or breast cancer.

Holland Cooke discusses the latest from the shutdown showdown to the Syria stand-down and beyond, with attorney and former Florida Democratic chairman Mitch Ceasar and Conservative New York radio and TV pundit Steve Malzberg.
