Robert Greenwald on how bail industry traps the poor

On this episode of America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio discusses the various ways corporations engage in wage theft and speaks with attorney Brandon Bogle about how workers can fight back against these practices. Mike then speaks with filmmaker and President of Brave New Films Robert Greenwald about his new series exploring the injustices of America’s bail system. Mike is then joined by Mollye Barrows, legal journalist for The Trial Lawyer Magazine, to talk about a series of criminal reform bills introduced in California to reduce the juvenile prison population. America’s Lawyer wraps up the show by highlighting a legal victory for six teenage plaintiffs against the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
