5. Dependence on US dollar and BRICS currency as a solution

Nasser’s era saw the rise of dollar dominance in global finance. Today’s push for a BRICS currency mirrors his desire for economic sovereignty. A multipolar financial system would reduce dependency on Western institutions. Together with Gamal Abdel Nasser, the grandson of the great Egyptian leader, we consider this evolution.
