Interview with Daniel Broessler

The chief of Moscow bureau of German Suddeutsche Zeitung, Daniel Broessler, is sure that Russia-German relations are in good shape. Not only because of the Russian President’s excellent knowledge of German but  also the close economic ties.

“I think that German carmakers would really have hard times if Russians wouldn’t buy German cars. Do you think that I see more Mercedes cars in Moscow than in Berlin, for example. Yes, this is important and we are dependent on Russian gas, so – economic ties are really close,” observed Broessler.
