‘Americans and Israelis, by taking over the Middle East, they had an idea they can stop American decline’ – Foad Izadi

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect Rick dives into what we can expect from the looming Iran peace deal with Foad Izadi, University of Tehran Professor. Rick questions if Israel could sabotage the agreement by attacking Beirut – how would Iran reaction? Izadi insists Tehran won’t leave Lebanon behind, because it doesn’t want a repeat of the Gaza genocide. Professor Izadi also also draws attention to Israel’s failing strategy in the region. He says that the infamous ‘Greater Israel’ project includes the territories of many Arab countries, that are now less willing to co-operate with Israel. Rick adds that Trump needs to cut US support for Benjamin Netanyahu before Israel violates Washington’s deal with Tehran. Foad Izadi believes that’s unrealistic as long as ‘Congress is Israeli-occupied territory’.

Sanchez Effect also covers the UK plan to ban social media for all children under the age of 16 – or as Rick describes it – ‘UK becomes USSR’. Whether you’re enjoying unrestricted internet, or scaling this new ‘Iron Curtain’ – watch the whole episode here, on RT.com or on BitChute ‘ricksancheztv’.

Sanchez Effect is a journalistic rebellion. RT’s flagship program is led by Rick Sanchez, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning newsman who’s made a career out of defying the status quo. “When only one side of a story is permitted, that’s when I push harder. If Moscow is deemed off-limits, it’s precisely where I want to be. Because more often than not, truth resides in the places we’re told not to look.”
