Dulat, former chief of India’s premier intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW). Dulat says the best chance for peace and reconciliation between India and Pakistan came under former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. He also underscores the critical role of intelligence in the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, while noting that the final decision is always political. On Iran’s resistance, he adds that the United States has consistently underestimated the country.
