‘You can’t sit with us’ – The Woke Mean Girls come for Mandalorian star Gina Carano over her election concerns

‘You can’t sit with us’ – The Woke Mean Girls come for Mandalorian star Gina Carano over her election concerns

Cancel culture rears its ugly head again, this time at the mixed martial artist-turned-actress, who is under fire on social media for not toeing the Hollywood party line on Donald Trump, and for liking tweets from conservatives.

Over a decade ago, when Gina Carano decided to walk away from mixed martial arts, I don’t know if she assumed that there would be even more women who wanted to harm her outside the cage than in. Since leaving the sport, Carano has landed a few noticeable performances in film and television. Most recently, she appeared as the character of Cara Dune in The Mandalorian, an incredibly successful Disney Plus exclusive that is one of the most beloved Star Wars franchise additions in a long time.

It seems that Gina Carano is guilty of the inescapable crime of having two X chromosomes and questioning the presidential election on social media. Apparently this is a substantial offense, considering so many notably woke women are calling Gina Carano “the worst” and want her to be fired from her job. What is apparently so much worse is that she liked tweets from noted conservatives such as Lauren Chen. How dare she! Doesn’t she know that if she is a woman, she must follow the dogma and not have any thoughts of her own?

If my abundance of sarcasm was not enough of a clear indicator, I find this sort of woke scolding to be utterly childish. What we have here is a bunch of women who pretend that they fight for “what is right” trying to ruin the career of someone who actually has gotten into a ring and fought other human beings. Just Google her name in the news” section and see if the articles that appear seem in any way fair. If this stank any more of jealousy and bitterness, you could make a perfume out of it. I guess you would call it “Eau de Mean Girl.” Because that’s what this is.

It has nothing to do with anything going on in society. These goofballs constantly ask for and later praise the opinions of celebrities like they’re praying, and then throw a hissy fit whenever they see something they don’t like. It’s like adding a political litmus test to an audition for the role of a fictional supervillain or space soldier. It’s absolutely absurd.

To stress it again, this has nothing to do with social issues. It has everything to do with control. The women who do this enjoy the power. They like being a Mean Girls club. They enjoy the dopamine hit that they get from spewing this catty bitterness towards someone who is leagues more successful than they are. The attitude comes from that same place of sin and desperation that all of cancel culture comes from. Envy.

This sort of covetous desire to destroy takes the minds of these women and turns them into screeching harpies. They spend their days combing through the social media of people that they watch on the silver screen to find something to whine about. They disguise it rather blatantly in politics so that they can try and seem virtuous. Here’s the reality. There is no virtue in trying to destroy the livelihood of someone whose worst offense is being on a television show you like and not having the same politics.

There are millions of people across the world who are fully capable of watching shows and films starring people they don’t agree with. When it comes to the woke Mean Girls club I have one question. What’s your excuse? You don’t even go here.
