Thanks, Europeans. Your overwhelming support for Biden means Trump’s now more likely to win. You just don’t understand us at all

Thanks, Europeans. Your overwhelming support for Biden means Trump’s now more likely to win. You just don’t understand us at all

Polls taken in seven European countries reveal they massively favor Biden there, by 67 percent to 14 percent for the incumbent. It just shows that continent’s ignorance of the US, and will make Americans more likely to vote Trump.

As an American who’s lived in Europe for the majority of my adult life (if Brexit Britain can still be described as being part of that continent), I am constantly amazed at how little people over here understand us Yanks and our country.

I am not sure whether that’s because of some underlying contempt from the old countries towards our still comparatively young nation, or a resentment of how America has overtaken them all to become the world’s leader, or just some snobbery about our supposed loudness, or arrogance, or cultural deficiencies. Or perhaps it's simply that Europeans tend, perhaps with the exception of the Brits, to be much more left-leaning than most Americans.

Whatever it is, it means there’s a myopic, often ignorant, view of what really goes on in America, and of what matters to the majority of its citizens.

The latest evidence of this comes from a YouGov poll that shows Europeans in seven countries prefer Joe Biden as the next US President by a margin of 67 percent to 14 percent. In Denmark, it was 80 percent to just 6 percent, while the best that Trump could manage was among Italians, where he trailed by ‘only’ 58 percent to 20 percent.

Of course, these results were eagerly seized upon by the USA's liberal mainstream media, ratcheting up their anti-Trump propaganda with big, bold headlines proclaiming: Europeans overwhelmingly want Biden to defeat 'terrible' Trump.

I don’t think I’m the only American whose first reaction to this is, how dare you stick your nose in our business, followed by: this interference will make me, and a whole load of my fellow citizens, much more determined to vote and work for a Trump victory, so we can stick two fingers up to our European cousins.

While I don’t want to spend too much time on this, YouGov’s data sample is garbage. It's less of a poll and more propaganda designed to impact the US presidential election.

The poll's results are statistically insignificant. The population of the seven countries polled is 342 million, but YouGov’s sample size was a paltry 9,000 adults. Even a toddler knows that 9,000 out of 342,000,000 is unlikely to be predictive of anything. Additionally, YouGov failed to include transparency regarding the political views and the political party affiliations of those polled, how participants were chosen, where they were found, the ages of each participant – I could go on and on, but I won’t bother.

Whatever the poll’s faults, I don’t doubt that the general sentiment –Biden good, Trump bad– is a view held by most Europeans. Who generally know jack*hit about America and Americans. So let me explain to them, and you, why their sentiment – and their belief, by 45 percent to 28 percent, that Biden is a shoo-in to win November’s poll – are wrong.

First of all, we need to look at what’s been going on over the past four years.

Since 2016, US intelligence services have set up a coup d’état in conjunction with elites and the fake news media by using polls and propaganda showing how Biden is up by 16 points or whatever, and to enforce the message: obey our results or be punished. These are the same lies and spin they use when overthrowing third world countries to make a win believable and acceptable to the people.

Let’s not forget that the US intelligence services have been overthrowing governments by rigging elections for a hundred years, and have six ways to Sunday to get back at you” if you oppose them and their interests, as Trump has. The script runs exactly like what we are seeing today, except they are not overthrowing a banana republic; they are attempting to overthrow President Trump at the behest of a radical Democratic Party.

The 2020 presidential election is about a class war, not a race war. It is the moneyed elite’s revolution against America’s working class – Hillary Clinton’s basket of deplorables. Oligarchs like George Soros and Michael Bloomberg throw hundreds of millions at nationwide elections to manipulate the outcome and radically change all the rules.

The elites are scoffing at everyday Americans. These elites have purchased an empty vessel and a radical in the form of a Harris/Biden ticket, with one goal: creating a country of obedient workers who are ruled by the elites. Biden, with diminished capacity,  is an empty vessel, we have no idea what he stands for or more importantly who is running him.

The mainstream media, Hollywood, the academic intelligentsia, the radical Democratic party are all party to this and use lies, damned lies, fake polls and slanted news – in a word, propaganda – to seek to achieve their ends.

It is a known fact that Washington’s pay-to-play swamp monsters, the Wall Street establishment, the censoring oligarchs of Silicon Valley, and the fake news media all loath President Trump and want him out of office at any cost. The vast majority of all stories in the media about President Trump are negative. In a nutshell, everyone is against Trump, except one group: the people.

Yes, of course, the mainstream media polls show Biden apparently on his way to a comfortable victory, enjoying a lead of around 16 percent in the national polls with just 24 days to go. That’s the impression the elites want to give to Republicans in the hope they believe there’s no point in voting for their man on November 3. It’s all over, already, don’t bother.

But it’s very far from over. Just remember what they said in 2016 – Hillary was on course to win easily.  As the Huffington Post gleefully put it, she had “a 98.2% chance of winning the presidency” while Trump has “essentially no path to an Electoral College victory”. Oops.

And it’s the Electoral College, that peculiar American beast, that you need to focus on again in 2020. To win the White House, you need to win States, not the overall national vote. And it’s the ‘swing states’, where the vote is close between the Republicans and the Democrats, that matter most.

And when you look there, what do you find? A very different picture, where Trump is actually running AHEAD of where he was at this time in 2016.

Despite four years of constant attacks on him, despite four years of the elites waging their coup d’état against him.

After Trump's 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, the oligarchs of Silicon Valley promised not to let him or anyone like him ever win the presidency again. Why? Because pay-to-play politics is big money and Trump is threatening everyone’s cash flow. These companies write legislation and financially ‘support’ their favoured politicians, who then hop on the gravy train by sponsoring the bills these oligarchs write to protect their own wealth. The companies also hire politicians to promote their interests within the government. A lovely merry go-round of money that President Trump wants to end.

So will they succeed in stopping Trump this time? Will Washington’s corrupt swamp and the out-of-touch Europeans get their wish, and see doddery Joe in the White House?

I wouldn’t bet your house on it. Forget all the polls being taken now. The only poll that really matters is the one that happens on November 3, when the American people speak.

And it’s my bet that they will choose to give Trump four more years, and to tell the elite: we’re coming for ya, buddy.
