Simply Red's Mick Hucknall makes (typically late) grab for anti-PC cred by ranking RACES for 'coolness'
Well, something’s got Mick Hucknall started. The Simply Red white soul warbler has gone full ‘drunk dad’ on Twitter by ranking races for ‘coolness’.

Aside from thinking that ‘coolness’ can be defined, publicly and provocatively dipping his ginger-tinged toe into any kind of culture comparison is the most Old Man thing Hucknall could have done.

He even added a desperate ‘come and get me’ plea to the politically correct with some goading follow-up tweets, such as, “My snowflake woke is outraged and deeply offended by seagulls and sardines” and “I. Do. Not. Care. What. You. Think.”

Sad Old Red contradicted the latter with, “Btw... The Irish made our top ten,” clearly demonstrating that he cares what the Irish think.

As you can imagine, there’s been no holding back the replies, with most dishing out the mockery he deserves. Our favorite being this one for all the Alan Partridge fans out there.

Hucknall’s Human League (sorry, wrong artist) could be construed as a generous gift to a sport-starved world, but really it whiffs of a dusty and irrelevant ‘personality’ desperately trying to get a rise out of people who think that comparing races isn’t really a good thing.

Either way, if you don’t know the Top 5 Coolest Cultures According to Mick Hucknall by now, then you’ll never ever know them.
