Hunor Kelemen, who heads the RMDSZ party that represents ethnic Hungarians living in Romania and served as the country’s culture minister, was barred from traveling to Ukraine till at least 2020. Kelemen said he was not told why the decision was made by the Ukrainian side and that he found out about the ban only when he tried to visit a Hungarian folk festival in western Ukraine.
