5.4 magnitude quake shakes Taiwan
A powerful earthquake measuring 5.4 struck Taiwan on Wednesday morning, EMSC reports. The tremor registered at a depth of 5 km and occurred shortly before 10am local time, striking an area just 75 km Northeast of Kaohsiung, a city with a population of more than 1.5 million. No injuries or damage have been immediately reported.
