Peru earthquake: Deep 7.1-magnitude quake strikes NW of Puerto Maldonado

A magnitude 7.1 quake struck nearly 250km (155 miles) northwest of Puerto Maldonado, Peru, Reuters reported Friday. The quake hit at a depth of 610km, according to the US Geological Survey.
