IDF aircraft target Palestinians launching fire balloons from Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have responded with fire to Palestinians who launched balloons from inside Gaza, according to the military’s Twitter account. “Moments ago, a terrorist squad launched arson balloons from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory,” it said. “In response, an IDF aircraft fired towards the squad.” The news comes amid renewed violence in Israeli-controlled Gaza which spiked after Israel’s military used deadly force against protesters.
