Mali goes to polls to elect president amid security concerns
Malians went to polling stations on Sunday to cast their votes for one of 24 candidates seeking to become the next president of the country. President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita is looking to secure a second five-year term. Mali is facing a wave of ethnic violence and jihadism, with a state of emergency in place for almost three consecutive years.
