Thousands protest against rising retirement age across Russia

Some 6,500 people took to the streets of the Russian capital to protest the proposed move to raise the country's retirement age, according to police. Apart from Moscow, authorized rallies were held in other cities across Russia. The demonstrations were organized by opposition parties and groups. No incidents or arrests were reported.
