Secret Kosovo deal at Putin-Trump summit is another fake – Russia Foreign Ministry

The Russia Foreign Ministry blasted recent reports of an alleged secret deal on Kosovo struck by the Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, during their summit in Helsinki. “Just like other latest media conjectures around certain special agreements reportedly reached in Helsinki, this is absolute misinformation,” the ministry’s information and press department said in a statement on Friday. Earlier, Kosovo’s Gazeta Express reported, citing unnamed “diplomatic sources,” that the two leaders agreed that Belgrade would recognize the independence of Kosovo in exchange for territories.
