Japanese, Russian foreign & defense ministers to hold talks in Moscow on July 31
Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono will visit Moscow on July 31 to attend a meeting between the Japanese and Russian foreign and defense ministers, the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo said on Friday. At the upcoming talks in Moscow, the two sides will discuss “issues linked to signing the peace treaty, and also key issues of the international agenda,” TASS reports. Security and economic cooperation between the two states will also be discussed. The first ‘2+2’ Russian-Japanese meeting was held in Tokyo in November 2013.
