IDF fired Patriot missile to shoot down drone coming from Syria

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday it downed an inbound drone that approached from Syria, flying over demilitarized zone. An IDF Twitter account said a Patriot missile was used in the action, and the drone was “most likely intercepted.” On Thursday, the military confirmed they shot another unmanned aircraft off the Sea of Galilee. It was flown into Israel from Syria, after it also passed through Jordanian airspace.
