Hundreds of migrants from Aquarius ship arrive in Spain

Ships transporting migrants from the Aquarius rescue ship and the vessel itself arrived in Spain on Sunday. After docking, medical staff carried out initial medical checks before the migrants disembarked. The ship carried 629 people it had rescued off the coast of Libya and spent nearly a week at sea as Italy’s new government banned it from docking.
