Palestinian President Abbas hospitalized again following ear surgery

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has been admitted to a West Bank hospital for the third time in a week, according to Palestinian officials. The 81-year old underwent minor ear surgery on Tuesday, and despite being discharged from hospital a few hours later, he was readmitted on Friday, before being hospitalized again on Sunday. Officials haven’t provided a reason for the president’s latest hospitalization.
