Erdogan tells Rouhani that US decision on Iran nuclear deal wrong – source
Published 10 May, 2018 13:09Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani on Thursday that he found the US decision to withdraw from a 2015 nuclear deal with Iran to be wrong, a source in Erdogan’s office said, according to Reuters. In a phone call, the Turkish leader also told Rouhani that Ankara wanted the international agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program to be maintained. The statement came after US President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that the United States would pull out from the deal.
