US to face ‘severe consequences’ if Trump abandons Iran nuclear deal – Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned President Donald Trump on Tuesday that the US could face “severe consequences” if it doesn’t remains in the nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers signed in 2015. “I am telling those in the White House that if they do not live up to their commitments, the Iranian government will react firmly,” Rouhani said in a speech broadcast live on state television. “If anyone betrays the deal, they should know that they would face severe consequences,” Reuters quoted the Iranian president as saying.
