2 killed as light aircraft crashes in Siberia, Russia
A pilot and a passenger of a light airplane were killed as it crashed in the town of Kaybaly in the Republic of Khakassia, the Russian Investigative Committee said on Saturday. The aircraft’s nose was severely damaged in the incident. The plane is partly in the water and the victims have not been removed yet, according to RIA Novosti, citing a local monitoring service. An investigation into the incident is being conducted.
